Virus Safe

for some time now im been getting very poor speeds,
32 megs or less on a 100 meg connection
browsing very laggy and constant poor timeouts on web pages and certain apps im running on my android
ive read in another forum that Virus Safe can disable certain addons in xbmc and this is whats been happening
i was told to disable this so called Virus Safe
and volla
all my problems has gone back to full speeds again with 107 meg speed results
huge diffrence from the 32 meg avarage ive been getting from the past few months or so,
many of phone calls to cs but no cure erm
i never even knew about this Virus Safe thing on there web site
and it was enabled by default crazy to think all this time it seems that this been enabled as slowed my connection right down
anyone else ran into this problem ?

Re: Virus Safe

It's not enabled by default, someone had to install it. Either way, make sure you have a decent AV but feel free to get rid of that.

Re: Virus Safe

I've noticed myself we are getting to the stage now where web protection programs, and even Windows' built-in firewall can become a performance bottleneck on lesser capable machines.
