Re: Virgin Media sub sea cable break
"Fixing it would involve a crack team of specialist engineers, a boat and a robot."
Im wondering where they got the engineers from.

Re: Virgin Media sub sea cable break
They must have syndicated the story or something.
Same story in a different paper but with different quotes.

Re: Virgin Media sub sea cable break
Ah fond memories of it being almost routine to have either Sirius North or Sirius South broken.
Vague memories of one side of the ring being repaired only a matter of days or weeks before the other side was broken.

Re: Virgin Media sub sea cable break
At least one problem you don't get with undersea cables is
"Verizon were unable to repair the fibre break within the SLA time due to the location still being on fire"
