T4 Timeouts, Streams dropping..HELP

Today and yesterday I have been noticing a few T4 timeouts but that is not the main issue.

The main issue is that my streams be it youtube/twitch are constantly buffering and even during that time it seems that my speeds are fine.

It is becomign very annoying as I want to watch videos but with constnat buffering its almost impossible?

Any idea?

Re: T4 Timeouts, Streams dropping..HELP

I do believe that T4 timeouts are solely due to network faults and nothing to do with your local connection. Hopefully the ming mongs in India are trained to pick that up so if I were you I would give them a tinkle and see what say. They will hopefully book a tech who will either come out and say he cant do anything and escalate it or if a lot of people call in (which is unlikely give your symptoms) it gets picked up ad escalated and all tech visits cancelled.

I'll pick up on what mon General has said. The T4 events are actual resets of the modem (reboots) and whatever caused that has caused the stuttering when streaming.

The Superhub. Typically there would be 16 T3s with power ramping at each event by which time upstream has maxed out and a T4 event ensues. The modem resets/reinitialises and so on until a stable connection is gained.
