LLU Line migrations: Anyone have any info?

I'm currently having a bit of a ding-dong with TalkTalk Business over a line migration and fibre to the cabinet order and was wondering if anyone has any insights.

Basic Details:

I was with BT business, with no broadband on the line.

I ordered Business fibre off TT business two months ago

after a lot of failed orders (address issues apparently, despite everything being in order), we finally had an appointment on monday the 17th of march

Openreach Engineer goes to the exchange and apparently starts on the line migration, but as the address on his order isn't "right", he abandons it halfway through.

This leaves the line unable to receive calls, but it can dial out, and a 17070 check shows the correct number and that it's no longer connected to BT (no BT line test facilities). Caller ID is currently not being sent, but if you dial 1470 before a call then the correct caller ID shows up.

When you dial in, you get a message (which sounds like TT Business) saying the line isn't receiving calls at the moment.

Now, as far as I can tell the above means that the number is being routed to talktalk, but they have an incoming calls bar active. Is this right? Are there any other checks I can do?

not really, the incoming calls should kick in once the job is completed by openreach. you will need to speak to tt about the bb.

Re: LLU Line migrations: Anyone have any info?

I managed to get it sorted in the end after two days of my finest base baritone bellowing.

They apparently "tried again" to activate the line, and despite them saying "this shouldn't actually work" it did.

It seems that because the migration and the fibre install were on the same job the fact the engineer couldn't find the address (despite the postcode they had only covering one building) meant the whole job was put on hold, including the calls migration.
