Question Comux Local TV Test

We have one TV that still uses an external digital decoder.

Earlier today A message popped-up on the screen "new channels found, press OK to install".

And it did it's thing, but now we only get 2 Comux Local TV Test pages on 791 and 792 (with a 1khz test tone)... all the other channels have vanished!

The radio side still works OK though.

Wenvoe transmitter, a web search says the tests started on 20th January.

I have been around the house checking all the TVs and they are OK, but at some point they are bound to pop-up the "new channels found" message.

I dread to think that retuning them will screw them up too.....

Any ideas?

Re: Comux Local TV Test

I got those channels when trying to retune our old Proline set the other and the same thing happened - they were the only 2 channels I could get for a while. Retuning a couple of times seemed to solve the problem however.

Try another retune with the aerial unplugged, that should erase all channels in memory, then try a retune with it back in

Re: Comux Local TV Test

3 retunes... same result.

Aerial off, 3 retunes... same result.

Factory reset, 3 retunes... same result.

Put a 6db attenuator in the aerial feed... all tuned in perfectly!

Removed the attenuator and all OK again. I think they may be pushing out too much power on the Comux channels!

Comux can only be contacted my mail or phone.... not very modern are they?
