Modem collection
Is there a free post VM address for sending my old cable modem too now I have self installed my SH2, it has been over 3 weeks now after the upgrade and no VM collection?

Some mad people are trying to sell theirs on EBay including SH1
There is no value for VM in collecting this modem for refurbishment and there was no return address given when I received my SH2 for a self install, all I had was a bog standard letter saying they will collect my old superhub (no mime is just a modem) within 21 days!

Re: Modem collection
I think unless it's the SH1 or SH2, they'll just ask you to dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way

On the VM official forum a similar thread BenMcr states that any VM product that cannot be used as fault replacement should be deposed as you say V0id link here
It would be nice if VM could find a way to email respond to you saying they will give you permission to depose of this particular VM piece of equipment!

Re: Modem collection
last I heard they requested you dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner and suggested you take it to your local council tip for recycling

Re: Modem collection
It took them about 2 months to send me out the cardboard box used to return my equipment. Unfortunately by then, it had already been erm...taken care of.

Re: Modem collection
Yeah CollectPlus is great when you first learn about it.
Amazon and John Lewis do it as well
