My Early Christmas present to myself
Hey guys, just ordered a new MacBook Pro, which is due for delivery on Monday, however my old one I'm planning to sell on eBay, but need some idea as to how much i can expect. I've still got the box, the cables and the discs and documentation for it.

Re: My Early Christmas present to myself
Best thing is do a search on eBay under completed auctions and see how much similar spec'd machines have gone for.

My dad, seems to think I'll get £600 for it, but I'm not sure, however I'll take a look

Re: My Early Christmas present to myself
My current one is a mid 2009, specs in my signature. I've just noticed something though, on the order status page I modified the delivery address to my sisters address as she is going to accept delivery for it as I'm at work, however on the email I've received it's got my address, I don't know what to believe

You need to take a look, but in my experience, Macs (whatever model) tend to hold their value quite well.

Re: My Early Christmas present to myself
The Apple recycling program is offering £210, but my dad's speaking to somebody who's interested

Re: My Early Christmas present to myself
As has been said, make sure you have a look and see what it's selling for elsewhere. Mac stuff sells for ridiculous prices second hand, there's no other computer area that holds value like they do.
