Strange Colours Through the Tivo.

All of a sudden tonight, recordings and programmes are not being shown in true colours through the Tivo. Terrestrial TV and the Blu Ray are fine. Any ideas what the problem may be? Thanks for any help. I have checked HDMI connections are OK.

Re: Strange Colours Through the Tivo.

Try a different HDMI lead. Also try a different HDMI port on the TV if there are any spare.

Failing that, give the VM faults team a call.

OK. If it happens again, try putting your TV into standby then back out.

Re: Strange Colours Through the Tivo.

Were you watching an American TV programme? Did faces have grey patches, usually in shadowy areas? That often happens for me, and I was told it was due to the "colour gamut" for encoding was incorrectly set.
