Sound echoes.
For the past couple of days when playing online games or anything on the internet the sound echoes. This is happening on any connected device. Modem reboots and system reboots don't cure the problem so could it be an issue on the internet connection. It sounds weird and the mrs like playing those games on Facebook

Sounds to me like a Halloween visitor got stuck in your hub - maybe you should call in the local priest for an exorcism.

That has to be it, I had a very similar issue some years back. I thought it was some sort of driver issue, so reinstalled the driver, along with some creative audio software, found the various sound types selection, including concert hall, and then realised what the issue was in the first place, hahaha.

No I checked this and like I said it only happens when online audio content is heard. If I play a game offline or listen to any other offline audio content it's ok.
so ONLINE it happens and OFFLINE it does not.

Well surely all audio is produced or passed thru by the audio card I still feel it must have something to do with it. Other than that I'm stumped, sorry

Re: Sound echoes.
Either way, it's incredibly unlikely that this is an issue with your internet connection. The only thing I can possibly stipulate at the moment is that perhaps there's some sort of conflict between your sound card and your network card. Very odd, though.

Re: Sound echoes.
No it's nothing to do with your internet connection. Audio and video streams are broken up into packets and have no way of repeating.

You mean Flash content. Either they've broken the Flash player (again), or you have echo settings:

Revert to an older version of Flash.
