Lifetime Channel on Virgin Channel 242
It appears there is new channel called Lifetime that will be shown on Channel 242 on Virgin fom 4th November. Bio already uses that channel number. Is Bio channel closing down and will Lifetime channel just be an extension of Bio or will it be more excitiing. I have seen something about a Bonnie and Clyde series advertised for the new channel

Bio is shutting down and Lifetime is replacing it. As for quality of shows, I have no idea. Although if I remember correctly, I think the Client List is being shown on there. Any excuse to perv over Jennifer Love Hewitt is welcomed by me.

Is Bio closing as VM want to close it, as they normally do. I am sure it will remain on Sky.
VM have a record of shutting down channel that THEY don't like, irrespective of what viewers want.

Bio is completely closing. But I do ask, what record would that be? What channels have they shut?

As others have said what channels have VM shutdown because they don't like them? Its broadcasters that shutdown channels not their carriage partners

You certainly have a warped view of the world, Arthur. Virgin Media have nothing to do with Bio closing down.

He's yet to explain what channels they have shut down in the past, I think you might be asking to much!
