When my wife rings her mother, she wont answer the phone because it`s coming up as private number or number withheld. At my end, I`m not doing anything not normal, I`m not hiding my number or anything. Does anyone know why please ?
If you are ex-directory, maybe ex-directory numbers are automatically withheld?
Try dialing a 141 prefix before the actual number, its my belief that this tells some phone systems to release the number, if its blocked automatically.
