Quote "More"

Hi All,

Had 3 emails last couple of weeks telling me to call CS and quote "more" for a better deal.

Figured i would do this today over lunch.

Called - Quoted "More" was told i could upgrade my phone for an extra £2.50 a month

I asked the VM staff member if they thought that this was a deal as looking at my bill they can see i never make any calls that cost money so why would i upgrade my package. Plus i pointed out i fail to see how this is saving me money or a deal.
They then offered to upgrade my second VM box to a HD box. I said i dont have one and this confused them.

I informed them i was not interested in either deal and perhaps they would like to offer me a discount on my current services if i took Sky Sports HD, hah no joy.

well what a waste of time

Re: Quote "More"

no harm in asking as i was spending about 100 quid a month with them.
that was not really the point. the email should have been called "pay more if you phone us.."

Re: Quote "More"

I'm onto my third 'more' email, the last two seem to have got very needy

-- "We STILL think our Premiere Collection with Talk Unlimited is perfect for you."

-- "We STILL think you'd enjoy even more on the Premiere Collection and Talk Unlimited for just £53.50 a month for 6 months, then £56 a month thereafter, with a Virgin Phone line for £14.99 a month"

I haven't got around to phoning them yet, but when I do I'd want to REDUCE my bill not increase it with services that I wouldn't use.

I had same e mail sent me but before i noticed it virgin phoned me (last thursday) to inform me my contract was coming to an end . There was nothing more virgin could offer me without the price increaseing . So the caller reduced my bill for the next 3 months as a thankyou for continuing with virgin.
