TV Email on Virgin Media?

Is TV Email still working to old viewers in Ex-ntl areas of Virgin Media?

TV Email was axe in old Telewest areas last year.

(I am an Ex-Telewest viewer)

IIRC NTL ended its TV email ages ago, before the rebrand.

ex-NTL TV Email is still working for those that had it I think - certainly not seen anything about it being switched off. It was stopped from new activations before the rebrand

It is now closed. It is still in the menus but if you select it you get a message that says "We're sorry, TV email is no longer available."

So when did the ex-ntl one go for existing users? For ex-Telewest customers we gave them advance notice in writing to give them a chance to move services. Not seen anything like that for the ex-ntl ones.

Mine was still working up to last week on my old v+ box. The box was swapped for a newer one (old one broke), and now the email is not available, so from this, I would assume it is only available on specific boxes (mine was an old Samsung)

No big problem - did not really use it anyway - too painful with a remote, but if it was reintroduced on Tivo, I might possibly "tinker" with it now and again
