VM policy for cancelling/refunding upon death.

Does anybody know the current VM policy for dealing with deceased customers?

Will they require a copy of the death certificate? (many years ago whilst dealing with my late uncles affairs, NTL were the only utility to insist upon this, the rest took the details over the 'phone).

Will they try to insist on a months notice before cancelling TV/BB/phone services?

Also, if a person has paid their line rental annually in advance, will a refund be made?

Many thanks.

Why don't you call them and ask?

Well the info you get here will not be official, the info you get by phoning VM will be and you would save a lot of time by just phoning VM.

You would have to confirm with Virgin Media, but if the account is disconnected then I believe yes, a refund is made based on the time left to run
