Re: HTV West

Quite a few of the ITV Regions are down on satellite, so if Virgin is using a satellite feed of your ITV Region rather than a Freeview feed then it would be down.

Re: HTV West

All channels are currently broadcasting as usual, but there is a major problem currently affecting the distribution of most ITV channels.

It is believed that this could be a satellite malfunction affecting satellite viewers and VM viewers (where VM take their feed from satellite).

It is not yet clear why Arqiva have not been able to switch the affected feeds to alternative feeds.

Re: HTV West

Apparently ITV London is still available on satellite so should be able to switch to the ITV London AD channel up in the 900's (I think) on the Virgin EPG.

Re: HTV West

I was watching ITV HD (Central News) and that didn't have a problem, was only reading on twitter that there was problems with ITV that I knew about them, I checked and found on my setup it was just the SD versions out of action, the HD versions of ITV, ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4 were working fine, then later ITV themselves posted the HD versions were OK.

Re: HTV West

Everything is back to normal now, even Emmerdale viewers were treated to a repeat showing after News at Ten in case the earlier technical difficulties meant they missed it
