Smile New contract - Retentions

Have come to the end of my 3rd year with Virgin's services.. Managed to bag a code from MSE for 50% off Sky TV for a year. Don't particularly want to move TV but do like Sky!

Current package:

30MB BB
XL TV with Tivo + 2nd V+ Box
XL Phone
Line Rental

Anyway, phoned up Virgin - best offer they could give me was £57.99 (£2.50 more than currently paying as I had £14 a month loyalty discount already!). Gayner at Retentions came back with a new offer of:

30MB BB
M+ TV with Tivo
XL Phone
Line Rental
150 mins for Mobile + 0845 calls

All for £30 a month!! Fantastic VM. This combined with Sky Entertainment Extra package (they tried to sell me phone/BB - no thanks!) for £13.25 a month - means I'm saving over £10 a month!

In actual fact, considering VM would have gone up by £2.50/month and 0845/mobile calls cost me around £5 a month - I'm saving nearly £200 a year!

Fantastic VM - keep it up - this is why I stay - customer discount for loyalty at its finest!

Re: New contract - Retentions

Congrats Ruddock

Better luck than i had, virgin offered me a £5 a month saving, even though i was paying £120 a month {and didn't even have the top package} told them to stick it where the sun dont shine, cancelled the tv and phone line and now have a proper saving of nearly £85 a month

For what i watch i can get it on free view or online, just upped the BB. Thank you virgin, i now save over £1,000 a year
