Help with tv pricing

Right. I have a question. This is what I have:

Quote:
Talk 08 2
Talk Weekends
M+ (Starter)
1 Add Set Top Box(es)
V+ HD Monthly Fee
Broadband L (Up To 30mb)

Premium add-ons:
Espnwithss Sports1,Sports2
With £9 of phone calls, the monthly bill came in at £90.80.

I really don't think that is value for money. So what are my options for reducing it ? I realise I can just call retentions, but I'm interested to see if this is the going rate or not. (I have been a customer of Telewest / Virgin for 12 years)

Thanks

Re: Help with tv pricing

There is a base price list, but it's common knowledge that no-one actually pays those prices, so quoting them is pointless.

Re: Help with tv pricing

£31.75 of the cost is Sky Sports and ESPN, minus that and the phone calls and the remaining package is in total £50.05

That would break down to

£35.06 for TV with the additional box, BB and Phone Package + £14.99 for line rental

---------- Post added at 10:33 ---------- Previous post was at 10:29 ----------

Compare that to current equivalent which is the Essential Collection:

£26 + £6.50 for additional box + £2 for Talk 08 2 = £34.50 + £14.99 Line Rental

Re: Help with tv pricing

Bloody sports. Why do I love them so much.

Getting rid of sky sports isn't an option but I think ESPN may have to go.

cheers
