Tivo recording question

So, following on from my house move: http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/11...ons-query.html

- Superhub works!
- phone line had an issue as no incoming calls, but after calling 150 it was sorted within 24 hours after the install (due to the fact I ported the number, something screwed up!)
- Tivo is amazing - I don't know how I lived without the recording facility and the VM app on the iPad is great.

Just one question re: the recording facility on Tivo. The series record option is great. However, it seems to record everything (including repeats), despite me choosing the option of new episodes only.

Is there any way to record tv shows at a certain time? I.e. can I set my box to record from 5pm - 7pm on a particular channel for Mondays - Fridays for example?

Thanks

Ignore - I found the answer to my question - manual recording!

Re: Tivo recording question

Also sometimes the program info from the Tivo people in the USA is wrong and it marks a repeat of a program as new.

Re: Tivo recording question

It will mark all repeats as to be recorded, but if you look at "recording hiccups", you will find a lot of repeats are not listed to record.
