Re: 30mb to 60mb
call 150 from your VM homephone. confirm number/account pressing 1 then option 5 followed by option 3. tell them. make sure they confirm theres no new 12 month contract applied or any additional charges.

Re: 30mb to 60mb
if your due date is November I would give them a couple of days dude. They are always late and many users have remarked how they are upgraded on the 2nd or 3rd of the following month

they upgraded it, they had to force it through or something and give me another 12 months on contract lol my upload speed is still the same though, when does that change ?

Re: 30mb to 60mb
you should of told them to use lube. a new 12month contract for asking for a double that hadn't happened after the ETA had passed/met completion? great. anyway upload will double when they push through upgrades for upstream.

The is NO extension to your contract it is a FREE UPGRADE nothing more so calling up would just make the OP look stupid as no one has EVER had an extension to their contract for any of the FREE upgrades.
Reason why is because you have not asked for anything to change but Virgin Media are giving you a the FREE UPGRADE for FREE.
When you login to Myvirginmedia it even says this More about your free broadband upgrade

Re: 30mb to 60mb
yup, it is analogous to you ringing up saying your phone line is dead and them saying they'll fix it as long as you agree to another 12 month contract

Exactly, just some people do not read everything as even when customers went from 2Mb to 10Mb they never changed their contract commitment date.

Exactly where in this thread does it say that, you only go into a new commitment if you ask, such as when I upgraded to 30Mb and that is because I asked but my soon to happen 60Mb upgrade will not put me or anyone else in my area or anywhere else back into a new contract, as it would be illegal.
