120Mb live areas - Please add to this thread as your area comes online

Please add your area details to this thread when the 120Mb service is live.

Posts for "Mine isn't yet, when's it coming", "I've been upgraded and only get XXX Mb", "VM are a bunch of crooks and should have done me first" or any post referring to the deficiences of the SH are off topic in this thread.

Let's keep this as a clear record of the rollout, without comment.

SO31 has already been mentioned.
Today SG5 (Hitchin) went live - 6DS 2US

I know this is off topic Kymmy so you can delete all the posts once we have discussed it:

All of your DS channels are around 7db and I am sure Seph has said cumulative power going into the modem needs to be below 35 otherwise the thing blows up.

As mentioned, SO31 is 120/12 now. I post here to add that I have now been sent a nice letter from VM to officially confirm such.

Agreed should stick a 6dB attenuator on it.

7 has always been around top end anyway.

Hi this is a quick update about the progress of our 120Mb rollout.

These are the hubsites that currently have 120Mb available.

Cosham
Aldershot
Dover
Chesterfield
Havant
Horndean
Locksheath
Flitwick
Hitchin
Wisbech
And we plan to upgrade these hubsites before the end of the year.

Aylesbury
Blackburn
Melton
Tower Hamlets (Poplar)
Bishops Stortford
Rawtenstall
Wardley
Yeadon
Bromsgrove
Leeds South
Southampton
Sunderland
Ashford
Bromborough
Derby
Gateshead
Kings Norton
Luton
Port Talbot
Addlestone
Barrhead
Dunstable
Heckmondwike
Hersham
Once these areas are upgraded if you're on 50Mb or 100Mb you'll be upgraded to 120Mb automatically.

Also our Boltometer is being updated in a few weeks, so you'll be able to check your postcode once that's live. We'll post an update with news when it is.

Thanks

Re: 120Mb live areas - Please add to this thread as your area comes online

everywhere has already been "upgraded" so why not just send the new configs down? They always said that 50mbit customers (now 100) were a small percentage of the customer base so giving us all an extra 20mbit won't bring down the network

Which bit of "Let's keep this as a clear record of the rollout, without comment" is too complicated for you?

So much for a clean straightforward record for people to simply refer to...

Fortunately, it seems that VM are publishing the list now so this thread is no longer needed.

Still haven't got 120Mb in Dover, very odd they would officially state it is available yet still not have customers in the area upgraded even half a month later.
