Connection drops, no service at times and no where near 60Mb
I'm now getting fed up of what I once thought was a superior service.
As of the last month or so, I've had connection drop outs where the router will cease to function to any wireless device or wired device, times where there is no service at all (confirmed by people in the same neighborhood) and download speeds that are no where near 60Mb but rather in the 30Mb zone although I am on the Premiere package.
Sometimes a power cycle of the SuperHub will not result in a reconnection and the status light will flash green instead of the usual blue.
It's really not like me to complain so I am sorry if this is unusual for you guys!
P.S At the time of writing this, the connection is struggling so I apologise for multiple posts unless vB has some sort of flood control for posting.

Re: Connection drops, no service at times and no where near 60Mb
those look good.
have you got a ping monitor going? if not could you do the following mate...
Enable ping response within your SuperHub settings first...
then....
Quote:
set up a ping monitor > http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping
once set up click on Share Live Graph then Generate
and then copy and paste everything in the box labelled
Small Graph (500x219 px) - BBCode (for forums; not yet supported on thinkbroadband forums)

Re: Connection drops, no service at times and no where near 60Mb
My uncle lives about 5 mins away and sometimes experiences some issues.
At the current moment in time only my laptop is connected and a few Androids, however pages are constantly timing out on all devices.
Even simple web pages with 1 image and little text.

Re: Connection drops, no service at times and no where near 60Mb
yup thats it.
i don't know to be honest mate. you'll have to wait for the knowledgeable heads on here to come on. you'll also have to wait for VM to reply to your thread on the VM forum, you did create one right?
your monitor seems ok to pull max speeds. if you have manual settings within your SH apart from the ping reponse enabled you could try a pinhole reset to see if it helps, i don't know.

I don't ever remembering enabling the ping response, I thought it was default?
However, as a last resort I may just do what you have said and fish out a needle to push into the reset hole.
Thanks for your help anyway :-)
Although in between replying I've had constant loading errors argh!

Yes I did post a thread too, hopefully based on my hostname and connection details they will be able to use their test tool to see if they can identify any issues.

Re: Connection drops, no service at times and no where near 60Mb
Ping results within spoiler tag (Edit: woops only did it with a packet size of 32bytes, I will redo the test, edit the post and post it below the general config)
Since the general config was just composed of 2 columns I will paste it as text (also within spoiler below)
Ping with packet size 1024

Re: Connection drops, no service at times and no where near 60Mb
Trace routes:
I have done 2 just to ensure that any anomalous results are not shown.
Also I have removed my IP address and first part of my hostname if you are wondering why it says redacted.
Does this look like a DNS issue?
If I do not reply from now until later on today, it is because I have fallen asleep or given up waiting on page loads! Haha :-)
Thanks for the help so far!
