60Mb upload on two channels?

I have just checked the router status on my supperhub and found that I now have two upload channels. My upload speed has not changed?
Max Traffic Rate 3072000 bps

I live in Gateshead with 60Mb, should this not be 6000000+ bps?

But i have been waiting so long, does that indicate the hardware is now in place and that I am now just waiting for a config. update to the Hub?

Months! Do you think if I was to bother the good people of Virgin Media they could speed up this process? I have noticed that having two bonded upload channels has slightly improved Jitter and Ping, great!

Re: 60Mb upload on two channels?

i have been on 2 upstreams for a couple of months now and my area didnt even have a problem with congestion. Unlike with the downstream upgrades where they did the work and then upgraded you afterwards, it looks like like want to go round by are and do the work and upgrade everyone all in one go afterwards.

What is going to be interesting is seeing what they do with the 120mbit upgrades. I am down to go up tp 120mbit by the end of the month so am I am going to get 120/10 or are they going to do both and I'll be the proper 120/12?

If you want more upload speed, switch to another internet provider.

Re: 60Mb upload on two channels?

I was worried that they were going to make a mistake and change me to 120/5

Re: 60Mb upload on two channels?

I wouldnt have thought so. It looks like they are doing the ds and us upgrades simultaneously so if they get a newbie in a 120mbit area (i.e 100 doesnt exist anymore) then they will be straight onto 120/12 as there is no need for half upload speed; all the work which had been planned has been completed in its entirety
