Sky Catchup - Where's the green button?

As Sky1, Sky News and Sky Living are on M+, the lowest package able to access catchup, why is the catchup not implemented like 1/2/3/4/5?

If you miss a show on BBC/ITV/4/5 you scroll back and press green to watch it.
If you miss a show on Sky channels you have to trawl through the standard on demand menus which takes considerably longer to find what you want.

Re: Sky Catchup - Where's the green button?

As far as I'm aware Sky's 7 day catch up facility is only available on the Sky platform , it obviously includes Sky Atlantic content with the majority of shows now available in both SD and HD as andy_m says VM's offering is On Demand on selected Sky channels.

TV for __ > By channel > Sky On Demand > Sky 1 (etc) > Catch Up & Last 7 Days

Its on Virgin but just half assed as it often is.

It's called catch up by Sky, but it's not part of the Virgin catch up service - that's how I read it, anyway.

That's what I understood it to be too.

You can also use the 'search' 'search on demand' and it's much quicker than trying to find something in the on demand menus.
