Virgin Media signs up Mo Farah for ‘Brilliance as Standard’ campaign
Virgin Media today unveiled its new ad campaign featuring Olympic 5,000m and 10,000m champion Mo Farah. The print campaign showcases Mo’s emotional moments as he realises Virgin Media customers get brilliant extras at no extra cost, including amazing HD channels, service and repairs and a doubling broadband speed boost for millions of UK homes. The ads sign off with the tagline “Can’t say Farah than that.”

Then he asks for free 0845 calls and caller ID but they charge him £5.

Which, as that's what they cost, he'll go 'thanks very much for charging me what I expected to be charged for those'

The campaign is about getting value added things when they charge £5 a month for something that is free with BT.

Realise that, but the campaign is about what VM offer as extras, not what they don't, so I see no problem in it.
Each company offer different extras.

I'm sure this has been already argued on this forum, when the last adverts went out with the same message. Rather not go around it all again

No, just turning don't want to turn this thread into yet another length argument between the points, when there is a search box that works well

I'm still waiting on my broadband speed being doubled about 5 months after the original advertised delivery date. My Virgin Media suggests it's already been done, even though it hasn't. I have now idea when to really expect my upgrade.
"“What better way to remind our customers of how Virgin Media goes the extra mile to deliver brilliant services than with national hero, Mo Farah."
I've got a better way. Stop boasting about what your going to do, and just bloody do it as soon as possible. Now you “Can’t say Farah than that.”

But "Coming Soon" is part of the VM experience.

Re: Virgin Media signs up Mo Farah for ‘Brilliance as Standard’ campaign
When they management viewed this campaign before giving approval they must have been high on something or extremely stupid, you choose.
“Can’t say Farah than that.”
The jokes and comments that will become attached to this line will probably outdo anything ever posted about the Usain Bolt campaigns.

You get useless offshore technical support and a poorly specced "superhub" for free.
They must be Usain if they think that's good.
