Sky Boxes.

We still have two Sky boxes left over from when we came back to V/M a few months ago.
Do we just throw them out, or de we need to hang on to them in case they want them back?

One is the new Sky+ the latest one they had, and a standard one, we had in the bedroom.

How can I do that?

As it would be good to make use of them, we have a 21" flat screen TV doing nothing, and it would be great if I got it working as I could put it in the kitchen

It won't be true freesat but the card you were supplied with should still work for the free channels (upto when they issue new cards), so make sure that it's connected to the dish and just plug into the TV..

Re: Sky Boxes.

Ah! slight snag there then, the cable from the dish is in the living room, and there is no way I could put it through to the kitchen?

Still, it was a good idea, thanks again.

Re: Sky Boxes.

Aye! but to be honest its not worth all the hassle of drilling holes in these solid walls (old house) to run the cable through to the kitchen, just to watch Freeview in the kitchen, but thanks anyway
