RG6 WF100

Twist on F connectors

Try this shop on ebay for a good selection of kits

Re: Moving TiVo

Also make sure that all the f connections are nipped up, and made off correctly or you will be suffering picture break up and other nasties.

Re: Moving TiVo

I've used this guy a few times http://stores.ebay.co.uk/The-One-Stop-Sat-Shop, he's even done custom lengths of cable for me.

It's not wf100 you need.

It works but it only has dual shielding

Vm cable is triple shielded

You need HD100 cable available on eBay In various lengths. Webro hd100 is one of the only cables with triple shielding.

Best get a cable made up, as twist on connectors aren't vm approved and they can introduce noise and increase signal loss if wrong ones used.
So no really recommended.

The proper connectors are ppc ex6 nt plus ones also available on eBay and same as vm use but you need a tool

Just be aware if done improperly then you can effect not just your services but your neighbours also, and if there is any fault caused by your changes using non vm standard stuff they could possible charge you for fixing it.

As above make sure after you use a spanner to gently tighten the connection so it's a little more than hand tight.
