Mobile Internet

When and If V/M ever do turn out a mobile internet service, like Sky presently does, will there be "hot spots" were we can log into the internet?

I miss that, as I used it quite a lot on my I-Phone when I was with Sky. Someone mentioned it on here a while ago, when they thought that V/M were going to go launch the App. soon.

Re: Mobile Internet

Depending which way you want to look at it VM do do mobile internet now. I have had a VM dongle for my laptop for the last couple of years and it works anywhere and everywhere. As far as wi-fi hot spots go though (and not cell/gprs) I think they prefer to partner with Vodafone atm for coverage. The only hot spots I know they are deploying are across the London underground and there was a news bulletin thing for it on the front page of this site.

Re: Mobile Internet

i brought this up not long ago. Mark the VM forum manager said they would look at the street cabs but a lot of work needs to be done in that area before we see VM wifi hotspots.
