50mb to 100mb needs engineer visit?

Hi there

I had VM 50mb for some months, and decided I wasn't getting enough out of it so got it dropped back to 30mb

However, getting a bit tired of being throttled so wanted to get upgraded back to the maximum

Rung VM who said I'd need to pay £50 for an engineer visit to carry out the upgrade

I was under the impression that 50mb to 100mb was done without any need for VM to upgrade any equipment, but I guess I'm wrong

Granted, I'm on 30mb at the moment, but I still have the Superhub from when the connection was 50mb

Thanks!
Nick

I cant stand hypocracy, you either need an engineer to come round and deliver the shub and "configure the services" (plebs in the Indian call centre) or you don't. They cant have it both ways.

Re: 50mb to 100mb needs engineer visit?

Cheers guys, did some searching here (maybe should've before posting?? )

Seems as though I need to ring 150 >>> op 5 >>>>> op2

In fairness to the guy in India, because I'm on 30mb now it might have confused him, but I did keep saying "I have the same equipment here as when I had 50mb"

I'll get onto VM today, cheers
