Best estimate they have for my address is 37.1/6.1 so it was a no go from the start, the nearest infinity cabinet I've seen is like 1km away so they are having a laugh!
So how shoddy VM's service can be from time to time I'm stuck with it for my needs.

Not sure but most people with infinity are getting barely any jitter, my max ping has been 19 and max jitter has been 3 with solid speeds as well

the cab doesnt have to be that close, also estimated speeds are often on the low side, BT are been very cautious with them to not get angry customers.
I was estimated at 65mbit down and get the full 80meg sync. I am about 200m straight line from my cabinet.

how are you getting better estimates than me? i get estimates of 50.5 Meg down and 13.2 Meg up. I'm 150 metres away from the street cab and a mile away from the local exchange.

I just unlocked my modem and can reveal my estimates were "way" under estimated.
I had estimated 65meg down
My attainable sync (if service wasnt capped at 80mbit) is 110mbit.
