Youtube on cable!
Apologies if it's been posted already, but I couldn't find it, and as it's taken me over a month to find Youtube's on our Tivo options I bet many more people here didn't know either. OK, we can all watch it already but TV is a whole lot better than a monitor anyway. But you must know some people with cable and no internet, so tell them! I certainly got a kick suddenly being able to just turn on the TV and watch myself, Youtube have never had an account search facility so can't find anyone by name, but if you type in climatefraud (I can't see a space and it works without) my two videos are top. Happy viewing!

To inform people who don't know how great it is to have youtube on you telly and not watching it on a monitor.

Re: Youtube on cable!
Pointless? Well a) if it had been here already I would have found out over a month ago myself and b) there are lots of people I'm sure many of you know here with cable and no computers who can now watch Youtube for the first time. I'm amazed more fuss hasn't been made about it, and why not thank me for letting people know instead of being a total wet blanket ryan?

Re: Youtube on cable!
I think the reason everyone isn't hyped about Youtube on a TV is because most TV's these days have Youtube apps built in.
All smart TV box's EG Apple TV, Roku, WD Live ect ect have had Youtube for a years and Blue-ray players have had Youtube Apps for years also. So don't be to upset because you were late to the party.
Atleast you got there eventually.

Yes, that's me, the chair was a family donation when I had the extension built, but whatever hair is left on top is all real, it's just the parting makes it look like one. But if people watch they can make as many comments as they like. I've got a couple of hundred more but those were the ones everyone needs to see the most.
I found Iplayer immediately as it's on red button and the homepage somewhere, but Youtube needs quite a few clicks to get to the icon, and I'd been too busy learning how to record and delete and trying to find teletext (it's not there) before wandering round the menu. I haven't started on the games yet. If anyone can find a way to raise a particular user's profile that would help, although I think Youtube appear to block that deliberately, although you can type it in the URL directly there's no other way to do it, ie not on a TV box.
