Sky Anytime+ Set Up Help

I have Broadband and Phone with Virgin Media and TV with Sky.

Sky are finally giving customers without Sky Broadband access to their Sky Anytime+ TV service. So I'm looking for advice on the easiest(and cheapest) way for me to get this set up.

My Virgin modem is the small black Ambit one, which has only 1 ethernet connection in the back of it, which goes into my PC. The PC is in an adjacent room to the TV. So what I need to do is connect an ethernet cable from my modem into the back of the Sky box.

The obvious solution is to get a router and connect that way. Can anyone recommend me one? But this would mean running an ethernet cable from one room to the other. Which might not be the best option.

However, I'm not against upgrading my broadband and changing to a wireless connection. I currently pay £29 a month for 10Mb broadband + L Telephone. What would upgrading cost me?

Or, does anyone else have any other suggestions on ways of me doing what I want to do?

Cheers
