I've just installed a Linksys WET11 wireless ethernet bridge and (despite my lack of knowledge on the topic) I managed to get it working 100% fine with my laptop plugged into it. Unfortunately I can't get it going with the Xbox 360, it just goes to the screen saying I can't connect and suggesting fixes (none of which work).
I read another thread saying it was something about the ip addresses and I suspect this is the problem but I don't really get how to fix it.
Yeah I could give that a go but don't really know what I'm doing. Do I just use the manual setting on the Xbox itself? What sort of number do I use for the IP?
After giving up for a few months I tried again and finally got this going.
For anyone with a similar problem, I just had to do 2 things:
Manually assign a unique IP address to the WET11.
Manually give the XBOX the same MAC address as the WET11 (from the bottom of the unit),
