Acceptable Use Policy?

Has anyone else noticed/read this?
https://my.virginmedia.com/customer-...se-policy.html

I just had a read through of it as I noticed it in the news page in MyVirginMedia. Reads much like a policy or rules in a corporate environment or something, advising on things such as what you can post on forums or sending chain e-mails etc...
If it's a new thing or I just haven't noticed it before it really does indicate VM want to ensure they're not liable for practically any activities of their users (makes sense really) but does seem more strict than I expected somehow...

Re: Acceptable Use Policy?

Been around for a long long while. Occasionally it gets tweaked.

Re: Acceptable Use Policy?

I'm curious to know to what extent they enforce it, how many people might have had their services suspended?

its been around for years, basically its to warn people not to spam & carry out cyber bullying etc which breaks most if not all ISP T&C
