What are the benefits of upgrading from a V+HD box to a TIVO - many thanks.

Re: TIVO Benefits

The main things is the extra features you get. The much bigger hard drive means you can store up to 250/500 hours depending on what size box you get, as opposed to your 80 hours at the moment. The box overall is a lot faster too, mainly when using On Demand, menus etc.
The best thing to do is watch the YouTube video i've linked below.

Re: TIVO Benefits

As someone who has been on a tivo for a month now, I'm really pleased I made the upgrade. Tivo works well for me. No crashes yet, loads more room. I especially like the fast forward function - you can wait until you see the start of the programme and it automatically rewinds a touch - so most times you get it bang on. A little thing, but genius.

I can't understand why Whishlists, one of the great features, was left out of his review.

And there is no point in Tivo outputting 1080p; no UK broadcasts are 1080p. Your TV will deinterlace the 1080i output.
