Virgin Super Hub & VoiP

I'm running the Netgear CG3101D suoer hub & whilst I have a virgin phone line at home I'm looking to take up a voip provider in a business premises.

So I signed up for a free trial with VoiPfone, downloaded there software & attempted to run it with no success. There tech support reckon it is due to the Virgin Super Hub and they are not aware of a way around it.

Are there any techies on here that know of a work around at all?

Try Vonage. I have used them years now and never had any issues with connectivity or voice quality.

Yes I'll second Vonage. They supply the hardware - an ATA - so you just plug that into the router and a (preferably DECT for convenience) phone into the ATA and you're good to go. I never had to configure anything on the router at all.

You might want to check the T&C though if it's for business use plus there is a 2,000 minutes a month FUP.
