Does VMDG 280 modem/router support VoIP telephony?

A reply from a Virgin team member would seem to be required, please.

Let me rephrase my question - Is Virgin doing anything to make life difficult for non-Virgin VoIP setup? Prior to the VMDG 280, my Surfboard/Netgear router combination (set up by myself) worked perfectly - why will the correct setup work on the older hardware but not on the newer?

No. But they aren't doing anything to help voip either. VM have higher jitter and latency than other ISP's so this can adversely impact voip.
