Ethernet great, wireless, not so good!

Hi Guys,

On Saturday all wifi in house went dead. I was running Linksys WRT54G. To be fair after 9 years i thought time for a new router so got a belkin. However still no luck. I brought the belkin router as the wired ethernet was working.

This morning I call Virgin (i may as well not bothered).

The problem is, the moment the connection goes into a router (i have 2 now) it won't connect. The linksys wifi is there and will connect but naturally no net comes through.

I have not done a thing different, no xblive, no iphone, nothing.

Just no connection into any wireless device!!!

Personally i think the scientific atlantic modem is done and does not like routers anymore as you see the lights die out the moment it goes into either router.

I've ordered a new router off flee bay and if it proves to work, virigin are getting invoiced!
