Anyone with Apple Airport Extreme?

As my Linksys E4200 decided to fry itself, i'm now looking at replacing it with the Airport Extreme as i have a few Apple devices in home.

If anyone on 100Mb uses their Airport Extreme wirelessly, what sort of speeds do you achieve?

Thanks in advance
Jack

Hi Jack

I am using an Apple Time Capsule with my 50 meg connection, as I'm sure you know the Time Capsule is exactly the same as the Extreme but with the addition of an 2TB HD

The TC works brilliantly with my S/Hub in "modem Mode" I get a 30 meter wireless radius, and solid internal network connection at 145 bps on 2.4 GB (300 on a 5GB channel)

My speeds are always near maximum on 50 meg (as graph taken over the past 7 days)

I would highly recommend the Airport Extreme

Hi Jack,

As the AE is dual band you'll hit pretty much full speeds. My iMac has hit 97Mbps wireless with the SH in modem mode. Often downloading I'm hitting 12MB a sec, thoroughly impressed with it. Only downside is 3 Ethernet ports rather than 4.
