Strange 50M problem over night.

Hi, Been having an issue with VM 50mb recently where once or twice a week, usually a Wednesday night mainly, my internet just stops and the only way to recover is too unplug the modem etc. The modem has the send/receive lights flashing on and off slowly.

Here are the details of the log and my config etc:

Re: Strange 50M problem over night.

Power Level (dBmV) 52.75 N/A N/A N/A yea that is fine...could be slightly lower but its not above the max..

you defo need to get onto tech support and get a tech guy out to adjust your downstream power levels.... that can certainly cause dropouts...

Re: Strange 50M problem over night.

well the downstream power levels as they are certainly can/would cause drop outs...

although from reading your post i doubt that this would be selective in the sense that the drop outs would only happen on a wed..lol..
