Just had VM Broadband installed and have a quick Question!

So ive just had 10mb broadband installed, and have the hub situated behind the tv. Its all working fine but one thing bugs me, the white vm cable that goes between the data isolator and the hub is very long (about 4ft) and looks untidy as it can be seen through the tv unit.

Now this might sound like a stupid question but here goes, what i want to know is, could i replace this piece of cable with a shorter one from ebay or is there a reason its been left this long?

Thats it, thanks.

Yes, you can get a smaller one, no reason for length

Just be careful to get the right type of cable. Its not standard coax. I'm sure one of the others will tell you more about the kind of cable you need. I can't remember, sorry.
