Gnome 3 Shell comes to sid today

Good news for all Debian fans, Gnome 3 Shell has appeared in sid today.
I installed the 64bit version with kernel 3.0.0.2, I can't believe how good it is compared to the other distro's offerings I have been looking at.
After installing the nVidia driver the hard way the only slight problem was with trying to start Nautilus as root, it told me I needed to add the directory /root/.config/nautilus and after that everything was plain sailing, I have installed all my usual applications including VirtualBox and a LAMP Server and everything is running beautifully so far.

I am sure I will grow to love it.......

A couple of points to mention for anyone who has not tried Gnome3/Gnome shell, the Windows key will reduce/enlarge applications on screen and when choosing the Menu top right (your name) holding the Alt key down will change the bottom menu option from “Suspend” to “Power off”.

Once again Debian proves that the unstable version (sid) is more stable than other final release distro's.
