Update to "Cable Modem Signal Levels" sticky

I like the power levels sticky thread on this forum but do you think it would be easier to follow with pictures! Just a screen shot with some annotation, like the example below?

Re: Update to "Cable Modem Signal Levels" sticky

i don't think using a connection stat image that contains high power levels will help although with the correct in range stats I agree, i mini guide and image would be helpful to those needing help but not knowing what to post.

Re: Update to "Cable Modem Signal Levels" sticky

There are other modems in use so there isn't one correct layout.

But a screenshot for each a description of what the modem is and looks like would do.

Re: Update to "Cable Modem Signal Levels" sticky

There's too many different modems and I'm sure most people can read two digit numbers without a picture guidebook.

I suspect you're giving 'people' too much credit.

I'm certain he is but putting up multiple screen shots will maybe add to the confusion rather than reduce it imo.

This link is what we work to when you call in and it covers all platforms as no one is going to try and post around 10 different screenshots of modems when in most cases you can access them with ease.
