Question want to add second TV - telewest cable

Hi Everyone,

Im a Telewest digital cable user....I have my main TV in the lounge that uses a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4200dvb box. I want to connect a second tv in my bedroom to the same box. I know I need a splitter box, magic eye and cable etc.. maybe a booster for the second tv signal.

Can someone tell me exactly what components I need to buy and how to set up it all up.

Thanks
Ken

Is your main living room TV connected via SCART or standard coaxial aerial to the STB. Do you have any VCR or similar that also uses coaxial.

Can you run coaxial cable from the STB location to your bedroom, or do you need to transfer the video output wirelessly?

I'm not familiar with the Scientific Atlanta STBs. Some STBs use IR for their remote control signalling, others a less standard IrDA. It's important to know which it is as this will affect what type of magic eye or digieye can be used.
