Question on Tivo Series Record Icons
I have just got my Tivo which is great but Ihave a question about the Tivo Series Record Icons.
I set a few different series recordings and they don't all show the same icons in the recodings list, even though if I go into the series recordings they all have the same settings as far as ican see.
Some show the stacked R icon and some show just a tick.
Does anyone know what the difference is & why some are like that.

Re: Question on Tivo Series Record Icons
A stacked R signifies a series link where a tick shows it is a one off recording.

Re: Question on Tivo Series Record Icons
Could you have originally set it as a one-off then later changed to a series link?

Where are you seeing it? The only TV screen icon I can think of is in Search, when it finds a programme that is going to be shown on TV.

Re: Question on Tivo Series Record Icons
This is when you go the the planned recordings menu. I think it still gives you the series link option if you have already set one up. When you click through it will give you options for changing the series think IIRC.

Re: Question on Tivo Series Record Icons
Yeah, it sometimes appears in the 'my planned recordings' menu. I've just taken a picture that I will upload it later if nobody else has seen the icon before.

Re: Question on Tivo Series Record Icons
Just got TIVO and setting up series link seems to be a nightmare...I go into change the options and then press ok.....all it does is go back to the previous menu and not hold any of the settings. I know I must be doing something wrong but I just need to know how to set up series links and any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Re: Question on Tivo Series Record Icons
You need to select the top option 'Record Series Link with these options' after you've altered them

I had one appear yesterday and that was for a series link I set via remote record.
