VIP package
Is it a written rule that if you upgrade to a vip package you get locked into a contract, i want to try the vip50 but im not wanting the lock and shackels, been with virgin for almost 6 years now but dont want to go a few months then cant go back, my memories of the movie package was the same movies repeated for a 3 month cycle is it still the same?

I'm pretty sure if you upgrade to VIP then you have to take a new contract. If you watch a lot of movies, and catch the new movie premiers every Friday night, you'll quickly get tired of SKY Movies. I didn't have SKY Movies for about 2 years then upgraded to VIP50 last year. If was great getting access to hundreds of movies each week but it became awfully repetitive within about 5 weeks. Since then your lucky if I even get through 2 movies per week.
What package are you on currently?

Re: VIP package
You can add services without entering a new contract. Ring in ask for the services and explain 'you don't want a new contract, you'll be told its not possible.
Go through to "retentions" tell them the same, if you have a good payment record but a history of bad service(like me) they may well agree when you explain you're not confident in VM to take a new contract but will take extra services, and pay for them services for a longtime if they work.
If that doesnt work email Mr Berkett. I'm not sure if this will work for you but it works for me but then I had a nightmare first 6 months with VM and will NEVER enter a new contract with them.
But I'm happy to take extra services if they appeal to me but not at the price of a new contract.

Re: VIP package
How much is the VIP50 package just for interest? is it cheaper then getting the services individually?

Re: VIP package
I'm about £115 a month for VIP50 (with 1 TiVo, and 2 additional HD Boxes) + I have Sky Movies HD activated on one of the HD boxes
