Little "Gems" found by TiVo

So hundreds of our regular posters here now have TiVo and have been using it for a good few weeks.

So what "hidden gems" has TiVo found for you so far that has become your new must watch TV series etc... I'm not talking about programmes you already knew about, or saw advertised already, I'm talking about programmes you simply didn't know existed that Tivo has found for you tucked away on an obscure channel at an obscure time.

Want to share with us your new must watch shows so us regular Joe's with a V+box can join in on the fun?

Re: Little "Gems" found by TiVo

I caught Modern Family by accident about 6 months ago. I saw the adverts for it but didn't fancy it. When I did actually watch it I found it's pretty funny stuff. I don't miss an episode ever.

I've recently started watching Man Vs. Food on the Good Food channel. If you like crazy food, crazy Americans and outrageous feats of gluttony then Man Vs. Food is for you. I'm just trying to think of the type of programmes you'd need to Thumbs Up for your TiVo to record this programme as a recommendation. I'm guessing Jackass, with some Gordon Ramsey and a dash of Mythbusters?!?

Re: Little "Gems" found by TiVo

Tivo is worth it for this feature alone.
Glad it has a large hard drive, as mine is 50% full with much of it on goodies found for me.

Re: Little "Gems" found by TiVo

"Spartacus" is one that Tivo found for me, have got quite into it.

"Sanctuary" is another one.

Neither of which I would have bothered to watch had TIVO not done its thing.
