Happy Saint George's Day
OK, so he was born in Palestine, never came to England, & probably didn't kill any dragons... but he's still the Patron Saint of England & my fellow English CF members
So Happy Saint George's Day

Re: Happy Saint George's Day
I shall be having a few pints and a bite to eat tonight at one of the local pubs, they've got a St George's day beer festival.

Re: Happy Saint George's Day
According to a friend of mine, he is also Patron Saint of - Aragon, Catalonia, Georgia, Lithuania, Palestine, Germany and Greece. He's also the Patron Saint of the Scout movement, soldiers, archers, cavalrymen and chivarly, farmers and field workers, riders and saddlers, and helps those suffering from leprosy, plague and syphillis!
well that just about sums us English up!

Re: Happy Saint George's Day
Whoever or whatever he is, I hope you all celebrate his day (and that's from a Scot).
