Another 50Mb thread....
Hello

I just got the service installed today and its running great...well i thought it was running great. First problem was the internet connection getting killed once torrents where open, but a bit of browsing on the forum sorted that out now while browsing the forum I noticed so many of you guys talking about 50Mb up and 5Mb down...below is what I am getting.



Now I am from N Ireland so just wondering at the moment is it only mainland England benefiting from the 5Mb up speed? Or should I be receiving 5Mb up aswell?

5mb upload speed (and all other 10:1 download:upload ratios) are only available in a limited number of upgraded areas dotted around the country, it's not the whole of England per se. Upgrades are continuing through the year and each area gets done at a different time, but all areas will be receiving it eventually.

Thats just what I was looking for thanks for the reply. The virgin website is a nightmare to find anything.
