Want to buy DVD+R Discs
Where is the cheapest site/place to grab DVD+R discs? I want 25-50 discs.
I come across cheap CD's now and then, but not DVD's, so if someone could please point me in the right direction.

I get mine from Play.com. I usually get the Maxell ones but in -R format. I rarely get any coasters, so I'd recommend them. Price is around £7.50 for 50 or £14 for 100. (No P&P).

25 for £2.99 from Ebuyer although unless you order other stuff with it the delivery would not be free and you would need to pay £2.08

svp are good, but P&P can make them expensive so I usually buy blank CDs and DVD from play.

Cheapest from Play is £5 for 25 with free delivery, Ebuyer with delivery works out at £5.07 so almost the same but if you are buying other things from Ebuyer you can get free delivery so discs would be cheaper

I don't think I would trust a backup of my data on cheap DVDs. Probably OK for films.

Yes it is for films.
Thanks all for your replies. I am waiting for more people to reply, and then will choose one. It seems for now the £5 discs from Play.com might be the solution

Keep am eye out in your local supermarkets, cheap shops. I recently got 50 Sony DVD+R for £7.99 reduced from £15

The last lot I tried were Verbatims and I had errors when burning at x16, - glitches in films etc towards the end, yet with the maxell I've never had that problem at all. Probably just my burner (Optiarc) but it's nothing to do with any player as tried on quite a few and they are the same.

I have never had any problems from cheap DVD's ,just because they are cheap doesn't make them bad, names like Sony can charge more because of their name but to be honest i've had more trouble with Sony disks than cheap ones, if you have a good writer then you should have much of a problem, the days of coasters due to bad disks are long long gone

I think delivery is £2.78? Which means for that same product (see below), it seems UKDVDR would be cheaper (inc. Del?) If so, I will go with UKDVDR?
