Hi guys, hope you had a rollickingly good Christmas.
My mate turned his pc on the other day and found that something called System Tool 2011 had completely hijacked his system, he freaked out and completely reformatted it, has anyone else had this?

Yeah, there's a whole bunch of these fake AV things around. Mostly they can be quickly zapped with Malwarebytes Antimalware but some of them can be tricky little beggars.
He probably did the best thing with a reformat. At least you know everything is clean and kosher.
